City of St. Louis Honors Alltru Credit Union’s Tracy Verner with Formal Resolution

ST. LOUIS, MO (Jan. 5, 2026) – The City of St. Louis formally honored Tracy Verner, Community Development Manager at Alltru Credit Union, with a city resolution recognizing her leadership in advancing equity, financial inclusion, and economic opportunity across the region.

The resolution was presented by Alderman Rasheen Aldridge of the 14th Ward, with cosponsors Alisha Sonnier, Shameem Clark Hubbard, and Board of Aldermen President Megan E. Green, and acknowledges Verner’s sustained impact expanding access to essential financial services for St. Louis residents.

“Through her tireless work, she [Tracy] has expanded access to essential financial services for thousands, empowering young workers with direct deposit capabilities that allow them to fully participate in the local economy,” Alderman Aldridge said. “Her unwavering commitment has left a profound and lasting impact on the City of St. Louis, reflecting her love for the city where she was born, raised, and continues to serve.”

Verner’s work has been central to Alltru Credit Union’s community development mission as a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI). One of her most significant contributions is her leadership in the College Kids program, which provides college savings accounts to kindergarten students attending St. Louis public and charter schools. Since 2014, the program has resulted in more than 23,000 savings accounts opened for incoming kindergarteners, creating early, tangible pathways toward future education.

In addition to youth-focused initiatives, Verner and her team partner with employers across the St. Louis area to introduce free financial tools and accessible banking services that support working families. These efforts help employees access safe, affordable financial products and participate more fully in the local economy.
