When was the last time you checked in on your financial health?

Just like other areas of your life, it can be helpful to take a moment to see what’s working well and where you might want to make changes. Alltru’s Financial Health Survey gives you a quick, personalized look at your financial well-being and can help you decide what to focus on next.

What Does Financial Health Mean?

Financial health is about more than the amount of money in your bank account. It includes how you manage your day-to-day finances, prepare for the future and make decisions about your money.

The Financial Health Survey looks at four key areas:

  • Spending — How well your income and expenses work together
  • Saving — How prepared you are for short- and long-term needs
  • Borrowing — How you’re managing debt and credit
  • Planning — How prepared you are to work toward future financial goals

After answering eight questions, you’ll receive a Financial Health Score that can help you better understand where you’re doing well and where there may be opportunities to improve.

How to Take the Financial Health Survey

The Financial Health Survey is available to Alltru members through Digital Banking.

  1. Log in to Digital Banking.
  2. Go to “Tools & Settings” and select “Financial Wellness.”
  3. Select “Financial Health,” then “Start Here” to begin.

Understanding Your Results

Your results can help you identify areas where you’re already doing well and areas where you may want to focus more attention. Maybe that’s building your savings, managing debt, adjusting everyday spending or setting goals for the future.

The important part is knowing where you stand so you can decide what makes sense for you.

You Don’t Have to Figure It Out Alone

Once you’ve completed the survey, Alltru is here to help you take the next step.

If your results show that credit or debt is an area you’d like to work on, consider scheduling a free 15-minute Credit Review with one of Alltru’s certified financial counselors. We’ll review your credit report with you, help you understand what’s impacting your credit and identify steps you can take to improve your financial health. The review uses a soft credit pull, so it won’t impact your credit score.
