LOUIS (December 17, 2024) – Alltru Credit Union, a leading Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in the Greater St. Louis area, proudly announces that four employees recently earned their Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification. The accomplishment underscores Alltru’s commitment to the credit union mission of “people helping people” by equipping its team with the expertise to empower members through financial education and guidance.
The CCUFC designation, awarded through the Credit Union National Association (CUNA), prepares credit union employees to guide members in making sound financial decisions. Individuals with the CCUFC designation are required to recertify every three years to ensure their financial counseling knowledge remains current. This certification enhances employee credibility and ensures they are equipped to assist with complex financial matters, including budgeting, debt management, and setting financial goals.

The newly certified financial counselors, Rachel Crump, Kari Tentschert, Jennifer Treatman, and Nadia Wojciechowski, are available at Alltru’s St. Charles branch on Zumbehl Road, the Wentzville branch on Wentzville Parkway, and through virtual appointments, allowing easy access for members across Alltru’s field of membership.
