by Emily Hechler ST. LOUIS (July 14, 2025) – Alltru Credit Union has been named the 2025 Best Credit Union by Community News in its Best of St. Charles County awards. The entrants and winners were nominated and voted on by residents of St. Charles County, with more than 8,300 votes submitted across all categories.
Alltru Credit Union earned the top spot ahead of runners-up First Community Credit Union and West Community Credit Union. Other nominees include Electro Savings Credit Union, Neighbors Credit Union, Vantage Credit Union, and Together Credit Union.
Alltru Credit Union has five branches in the Greater St. Louis area, including two branches in St. Charles County: one on Zumbehl Road in St. Charles and the other at its headquarters on Wentzville Parkway in Wentzville.
First published in 1921, Community News is the longest published weekly newspaper in the St. Louis metropolitan area. It currently publishes two editions, one for North County St. Louis and another for St. Charles County.
