Frequent Questions About Our Name Change

For many years, we’ve existed as 1st Financial Federal Credit Union. A name that, while common and quite institutional, didn’t tell the story of us.

In November 2020, we officially changed our name to Alltru.

Below are a few questions that you might have about our evolution to Alltru Credit Union.

Yes. The new name isn’t about outgrowing our roots or moving away from the things that are important to our team and members, it’s about helping MORE people gain access to our needed products and services.

We put careful thoughtful consideration into this. We carefully timed it to align with natural depletion of many of our materials like letterhead, envelopes, and more. It also aligns with timing for many needed updates to our signage and branch materials.  The new materials are a sound investment in our future growth.

Neither your rates nor fees are affected by the new name. Rates and fees do fluctuate, but they are adjusted in response to market conditions, not our name.
