As a not-for-profit credit union, we’re here to serve our members and strengthen our community. For more than 50 years, we’ve been putting our resources to work throughout St. Louis, and with your help, we will continue to do even more.

Access
For generations communities throughout St. Louis faced barriers to essential banking services, leaving many low-income and minority families with limited paths to financial stability.
As a certified Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), Alltru is committed to breaking down those barriers. We provide accessible banking and lending options designed to meet people where they are and help create a path towards a stronger financial future.
Empowerment
Financial empowerment starts with access to the right tools, knowledge and support. That’s why Alltru partners with local organizations to bring financial education and resources directly into our communities.
Through partnerships like The Office of Financial Empowerment and the College Kids program, we’re helping people build financial knowledge early and create stronger financial futures. Since the College Kids program started we’ve opened nearly 23,000 savings accounts for local students.
We also partner with St. Louis-area employers to provide employees with free access to financial wellness benefits, including Salary Advance Loans, Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), and other resources designed to meet employees where they are.
Community
Strong communities are built by people showing up for one another. At Alltru, that means sharing our financial expertise, volunteering our time and supporting organizations doing meaningful work throughout St. Louis.
Through our free credit reviews, community members can have a personalized, one-on-one conversation with a Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor to better understand their credit and identify ways to strengthen it.
Our employees are also given paid time each month to volunteer with nonprofit partners, giving our team the opportunity to directly support the communities we serve.
