Alltru Celebrates 2023 Juneteenth Heritage Awardees

ST. LOUIS, MO (June 21, 2023) – St. Louis City Mayor Tishaura O. Jones held a special ceremony on Friday, June 16, 2023 to recognize the five recipients of Alltru Credit Union’s Juneteenth Heritage Award. The Juneteenth Heritage Award was created by Alltru to recognize youth in the Greater St. Louis community for the ways that they celebrate the Juneteenth holiday. Individuals between the ages of 5 and 25 were invited to illustrate what Juneteenth means to them by sharing their own expression of creativity in the form of an artistic work or creative expression.
