Alltru Credit Union announces new appointments to Board of Directors

St. Louis, MO (April 25, 2024) – Alltru Credit Union is pleased to announce the appointment of the Jennifer Coliny, Lawrence Pionke, and Stanley Kohn to the Board of Directors.

As a not-for-profit cooperative financial institution, Alltru is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, comprised of men and women who act as voting representatives of the community.  Each Board member is given a three-year term and is voted on at the Annual Meeting by the members of the credit union, thereby giving voice and power to the people who bank with Alltru.  This year, the members of Alltru voted to re-appoint two existing Board members and introduce a new member of the Board with the retirement of long time Board member, Robert Rutkowski.

Jennifer Coliny has been an active member of the Alltru Board of Directors for the past six years, demonstrating a deep commitment to the credit union’s mission. With a background in operations management and strategic planning at Stock Legal, Coliny’s leadership has been invaluable in driving growth and innovation within the organization.

Lawrence (Larry) Pionke, another incumbent, brings over 45 years of experience in project management, knowledge management, and technology-driven industries to the board. Pionke’s extensive career with Boeing and other leading firms has equipped him with expertise in customer relationship management, supply chain validation, technology assessment, and enterprise standardization. His re-election for a three-year term underscores his ongoing commitment to advancing the credit union’s mission of empowering members to achieve their financial goals.

Joining the board as a new member is Stanley Kohn, who has been an active participant in Alltru’s Associate Volunteer program for the past three years. Kohn’s background in finance and extensive experience at Boeing and L E Sauer Machine Company uniquely positions him to contribute to the credit union’s strategic initiatives.

“We are thrilled to celebrate the re-election of Jennifer and Larry and so happy to welcome Stanley to our Board of Directors,” said Michelle Rosner, CEO at Alltru Credit Union. “Their diverse backgrounds, extensive experience, and unwavering commitment to our members make them instrumental additions to our leadership team. We look forward to working together to continue providing exceptional service and support to our members and communities.”

After 13 years of volunteer service to the Board, Alltru employees and members also celebrated the retirement of Robert Rutkowski at the 2023 Annual Meeting.  Rutkowski retired from Boeing where he was an Aeronautical Engineer for 41 years and served as a senior commander in the US Air Force and the Air National Guard for 30 years.   During a ceremony to recognize his time at Alltru, Rutkowski said “I appreciate the opportunity to serve this organization for as long as I have and the people I got to know in the process”.
