Alltru Credit Union Appoints Vice President

ST. LOUIS, MO (November 03, 2023) –Kim Stocks, formerly Director of Member Operations at Alltru Credit Union, assumed the role of Vice President of Lending & Deposit Operations, effective November 1, 2023.

During her tenure at Alltru Credit Union since 2008, Stocks has emerged as a distinguished leader, showcasing unwavering dedication and commitment. She has held various pivotal positions within the credit union, starting as a Teller and progressing to Underwriter, Lending Manager, and most recently as the Director of Member Operations.

Under Stocks’ steadfast guidance, the credit union’s portfolio has thrived and diversified, consistently surpassing established objectives. The role of Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) lending has been central to Alltru’s mission of empowering and uplifting underserved communities. With Stocks at the helm, Alltru is actively engaged in breaking the cycle of poverty by providing essential access to banking products for those who might otherwise be excluded.

In 2022 alone, Alltru Credit Union disbursed more than 6,500 savings, checking, and loan products to families residing in low-income census tracts in the greater St. Louis area. Additionally, they extended $33 million in loans to families with credit scores of 640 or lower.
