ST. LOUIS, Mo. (Nov. 2, 2026) – Alltru Credit Union, a leading Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) in the Greater St. Louis area, is celebrating the relocation of its downtown St. Louis branch. The new branch, located at 2908 Market St. near South Ewing Ave., officially opened October 27, 2026, with grand opening festivities planned for November 4-7.
The relocation reflects Alltru’s continued investment in the City of St. Louis and its mission to provide accessible and affordable checking, savings and loan options to the communities it serves. As a CDFI credit union, Alltru is committed to expanding financial opportunities and supporting individuals and families who may be underserved by traditional financial institutions.
“Alltru is excited to celebrate the opening of our relocated Downtown St. Louis branch,” said Lone Jensen, Chief Member Experience Officer. “It’s important for our members to know that we are here for them and remain committed to serving the City of St. Louis. This new location allows us to be more accessible to our members while continuing to invest in the community that we’re so proud to serve.”
Alltru Credit Union will host a ribbon-cutting ceremony on Wednesday, November 4 at 10 a.m. at the new location.
A free three-day grand opening celebration will follow from Thursday, November 5, through Saturday, November 7 during regular branch hours. Visitors can enjoy giveaways, refreshments, and opportunities to enter to win a $1,000 grand prize.
As part of the celebration, Alltru will also give back to the community with a $2,000 donation to one of three local nonprofit organizations: College Kids, Employment Connection, or the MERS Goodwill Excel Center. The public is invited to visit the branch and cast their vote for the organization they’d like to see receive the donation.
